   Yes, Our course is a 4 hour long course that will satisfy the requiements for the State of Florida CCL. You will receive a “Certificate of Completion” that has our name, credentials, and the license/certification number. Florida Training Certificate Requirements

   You do not need to bring your firearm for training as we will supply everything for you. The exception would be if class begins at the range or if you have specific questions regarding your firearm and would like assistance from the instructor. If you’d like to bring materials for note taking that is fine, however you will receive an email following the class covering the course material taught.

We will supply all that is needed for your training and participation.

   The course will cover all safety instruction including the four must know rules for each and every time you are handling a firearm, as well as additional safety instruction. The basic fundamentals for proper grip, stance, eye dominance and handling your firearm will also be taught. It will also include home defense from storage, practices within your dwelling to clearing the weapon and developing a plan in the event of a home invasion etc.
   This course can address all experience levels so it depends on how in depth the course may address.

Yes, we absolutely offer private and semi private lessons. These will address anything from very beginner experience level through force on force training. Most beginners have thoroughly gained confidence and ability attending private lessons.

   Self defense can cover almost any subject matter for the beginner through advanced levels including situational and self awareness. Basic striking, escaping from specific holds, multiple attackers and weapons are the main topics. This course, like others offered by Apex Protection, can be a private, semi private, group and corporate accommodating depending on the needs and interest.

   Yes ,and it is highly recommended to never ignore this, as most people have a false sense of security simply by being in your own dwelling. Having the “ that would never happen to me” mentality could prove to be a crucial misnomer.
   This course has two opportunities. The first may be :
The necessity to know your safest location in your home for your firearm and yourself in the event you need to hunker down. This also includes developing a plan for yourself and loved ones with constant practices to remain sharp with your skills.
   The second may be a home assessment including pictures of all your points of entry, door locks, vulnerable possibilities whether you have a current security system or not. You will receive a report with all including recommendations for a safer home.

Yes, it is essential that you continue to train and improve on your skill level regardless of experience. Too often people get complacent and the feeling they have a firearm so they can “ handle” any situation. Do not neglect any opportunity to further yourself.
